The Federal Government has reopened COVIDtests.gov. Every household can order four over-the-counter COVID-19 tests for free. These tests are intended for use throughout the 2024 holiday season to detect currently circulating COVID-19 variants. Please visit COVIDtests.gov for your free test.

COVID-19 Vaccine Advisory Group

The Governor’s COVID-19 Vaccine Advisory Group advises the governor on preparations for a COVID-19 vaccine, including the optimization of a statewide vaccine distribution strategy, and communicating critical medical information about the vaccine with the state’s residents.

The group is administered by staff from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.  Meetings are open to the public and available to watch online at https://ct-n.com/

Draft COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Plan

The draft version of the Connecticut COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Plan was delivered to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on October 16, 2020, per grant requirements.  Revisions to this draft plan will continue as new information and guidance becomes available.
