Any comments should be in writing to John P. Burke, Commissioner of Banking, at the Connecticut Department of Banking, 260 Constitution Plaza, Hartford, CT 06103-1800 or via E-mail to john.burke@ct.gov. Written comments will be considered only if they are received within ten days from the date of this bulletin.

FOREIGN BANK ACTIVITY

The Connecticut branch of Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG, a federally licensed branch in Greenwich, Connecticut, will consolidate with the New York branch of Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG, located at 245 Park Avenue, New York, New York. The Connecticut branch expects to discontinue operations in Connecticut by March 31, 2003. No accounts will be liquidated and no customers will be terminated.
