Equal Employment Opportunity Office
The Equal Employment Opportunity Office is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the proper implementation of policies and procedures related to equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
DMHAS Latino Outreach provides regional, community outreach services designed to reduce the stigma that surrounds substance use in the Latino community and to identify Latinos who have a substance use disorder for which they are not seeking treatment, or who are at risk of having a substance use disorder for which they are not likely to seek treatment.
DMHAS Client Release of Information Forms
In accordance with federal and state privacy laws, a Release of Information Form authorizing the use and disclosure of protected health information must be completed and signed by the client or authorized (legal) representative before any client information may be released.
Client Rights and Grievance Specialist
The Client Rights and Grievance Specialist promotes the use of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) Client Grievance Procedure by DMHAS facilities and covered service providers. The Client Rights and Grievance Specialist is also the designated DMHAS Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II Coordinator and Affordable Care Act (Section 1557) Coordinator.
