Client Rights Specialist
The Client Rights Specialist at the DMHAS Office of the Commissioner helps DMHAS state operated and DMHAS contracted mental health and substance use disorder providers understand people’s rights and resolve complaints using the DMHAS Client Grievance Procedure.
At the end of each fiscal year, the Client Rights Specialist conducts an annual survey of Client Rights Officers. Results of that survey are compiled into reports:

The Client Rights and Grievance Specialist is also the DMHAS ADA Title II Coordinator who helps DMHAS programs be equally accessible to persons with disabilities as other people.
