More Than 100 Wrong-Way Driving Warning Devices Installed

Commissioner Ronnell A. Higgins joined Gov. Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Department of Transportation to warn about wrong-way driving and announce that more than 100 devices that have installed on highway ramps in the state.

The K9 Unit in Meriden provides specialized training for officers and K9s who serve around the world. The unit has been at the forefront of many advances, including drug detection dogs, arson dogs and body recovery dogs. CSP recently offered a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into training K9s and their officers.

Crime in Connecticut 2023 Released

The annual report is the state’s most comprehensive compilation of crime statistics, providing detailed information on criminal offenses and arrests. The report now makes full use of the relatively new National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS), which provides more detailed information about crime incidents.
