I submitted a form but not the full application. How can I open the submitted form to make edits prior to the deadline?
In the top right corner of your form there will be three dots. Click on the dots and select "Edit" to open the form for editing. If you are still unable to open the form then email tamara.dimitri@ct.gov to assist.
How do you define an artist?
For this grant, the definition of an artist includes, but is not limited to, an individual who practices an art form such as a musician, theater performer, photographer, puppeteer, craft artist, painter, poet, author, vocalist, folk and traditional artist, dancer, etc.
How do you define a full-time Connecticut resident?
If I am awarded a grant, when can I expect to receive the money?
After you complete and return the contract and other required paperwork, if you sign up for direct deposit then we expect to electronically deposit your grant within 3-4 weeks. If you do not sign up for direct deposit then your grant will be issued as a check by mail and may be received within 4-6 weeks. Staff in our agency will do everything in their power to process your grant award as quickly as possible.
Is the grant taxable?
Please consult directly with your accountant or other tax consultant to determine if the grant is taxable income in your specific situation. See Page 4 in this link:
What can I spend this grant money on?
Expenses must be directly associated with the funded activity and include:
- Artist Fee (self-compensation)
- Fees paid to other artists for services
- Materials/Supplies
- Marketing
