Your eLicense account is your key to managing your permit.

It is your responsibility to make sure your contact information in your eLicense profile is up to date.  We will use your email address and phone number in eLicense to communicate with you about your permit.  For example, we send annual renewal reminders to your email address listed in eLicense.

You can perform a variety of tasks on your eLicense portal.

Account Maintenance

  • Change Username: We assign a randomly generated username, but you can set a new one.
  • Reset Password: You may change your password or you can recover your password.
  • Recover Password and Username: If you forgot your username or password, you can have it reset with information sent to the email address on file.

All Permits

  • Apply: Use your existing account to apply for other liquor permits or other licenses issued by the Department of Consumer Protection. We may be able to import saved information form other applications.
  • Backer Representative Updates: You can add or terminate a backer representative. (A backer representative is a person hired by an applicant to assist with the application process, like a lawyer or consultant.)
  • Donate Alcohol: All permits may donate to the holder of a temporary charitable permit with Liquor Control permission. Submit donation requests through eLicense.
  • Renew: Your annual renewal must be done online through the eLicense portal.  You may also watch a video.
  • Trade Name Updates: You may update your trade name at any time; not to be used if a new backer or entirely new business is taking over.
