State statutes and regulations require signs to be posted in all licensed pharmacies. Pharmacies may use the signs provided below or their own signage so long as the signs comply with state law.
The following signs are required to be posted in all licensed pharmacies:
- Storage and Disposal of Prescription Drugs (CGS Sec. 20-636)
- DCP Storage and Disposal Sample Sign - Full Color, Simple Print
- Substitution of Generic Drugs (CGS Sec. 20-619(g))
- Generic Drug Sample Sign 18" x 24" (letters must be at least 1" tall)
- Prescription Errors (CGS Sec. 20-635(b))
- Prescription Error Sample Sign (must be at least 8.5" x 11")
- Pharmacist Manager Name and Title (RCSA Sec. 20-576-21)
- Pharmacy Hours (RCSA Sec. 20-576-19)
- Pharmacy Hours Sample Sign (letters must be block letters at least 1/2" tall)
