In the State of Connecticut, Oxygen is considered a prescription drug and therefore a company that distributes oxygen to patients, health care facilities, hospitals, pharmacies, etc., would be required to maintain a Wholesaler of Drugs, Medical Devices, and/or Cosmetics registration. (Note: If you trans fill oxygen from one storage tank to another you would also be required to maintain a Manufacturer of Drugs, Medical Devices, and/or Cosmetics registration.)
