The DCF Nurse Consultant in Central Office promotes continuous quality improvement of healthcare through oversight and support to congregate care facilities in accordance with the DCF practice guide (21-5PG) Health Care Standards and Practice for Children and Youth in Care. This is accomplished through: 

 

New Nurse Orientation

All new nurses to a DCF Licensed Child Caring facility must go through orientation with the Health and Wellness Nurse Consultant.  Please clink on the link below to notify DCF that you are a new nurse are in need of an orientation.  The Nurse Consultant will follow-up with a date to provide orientation.
