The following software applications can be downloaded by employers (Boards of Education, Charter Schools, etc) of the State of Connecticut. We are requesting that the Key Contact Update form and the Reporting Unit Superintendent's Contact Information form found under Employer Forms be completed no later than September 15th of each school year to ensure that our communications are sent to the correct people. These forms should also be used to report changes that occur throughout the school year.

The Transmittal Software is a stand-alone Windows application developed for employers (Boards of Education, Charter Schools, etc) of the State of Connecticut to transmit teachers' contributions to TRB in an electronic format. Effective January 1, 2018 all active members are required to contribute 8.25% of pensionable salary towards mandatory contributions (7% regular; 1.25% health). This refers to the change in an employee’s withholding.

District Health Subsidy Worksheet

The TRB wants you all to be aware that there are major changes happening with the Health Subsidy process. We are hopeful that we have created a new process that is much easier to use and more time effective for districts. Feedback is important and we encourage everyone to watch and reference the training before trying to use the new system.
The District Health Subsidy (DHS) Worksheet is an Excel spreadsheet developed for employers (Boards of Education, Charter Schools, etc) of the State of Connecticut to transmit retired teachers' subsidy information to TRB in an electronic format via Secure File Transfer.
