Thursday, October 14 at 10 a.m. for an informative webinar on the rapid progress Connecticut’s Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) has made in its Equitable Modern Grid (EMG) initiative.

The timing of the webinar marks the two-year anniversary since PURA outlined its framework for investigating methods for realizing an equitable modern electric grid in Connecticut

Speakers including PURA Chairman Marissa P. Gillett and Joshua Ryor, Director of Utility Programs and Initiatives, will highlight advancements in 11 near- and long-term topics being investigated to ensure continued developments to the state's electric grid through its biennial integrated distribution system planning process.

Leaders of the legislature's Energy and Technology Committee will also underscore landmark legislation that laid the groundwork for PURA's vision for modernizing the electric grid.

The webinar will also provide a comprehensive overview of the objective and vision of PURA’s Equitable Modern Grid, including the progress made to-date on the eleven near-term topics currently under investigation:
