The State of Connecticut, Office of Policy and Management, is seeking proposals to provide certain services related to evaluating the impact of petroleum supply scarcity (referred to as "peak oil") on the State and identifying and evaluating mitigation strategies to lessen the impact of peak oil on State government operations, its citizens and the economy.
The intent of the request is to identify individuals or firms with the necessary expertise to conductscenario modeling of the impacts on the State of Connecticut's government and citizens that would result from petroleum supply scarcity, price fluctuations, and supply disruptions; lay out options and supporting analysis to mitigate the effects of global oil scarcity on the State; and conduct a petroleum sensitivity study of State agencies within a stated timeframe.
