Citizen's Ethics Advisory Board Vacancy
The Citizen's Ethics Advisory Board (CEAB, or Board) is a nine-member board whose members are appointed by the Governor and the Legislative leaders for staggered, non-renewable, four-year terms. CEAB members are responsible for adjudicating cases brought under the ethics codes and making findings of violations. Members also issue Advisory Opinions, which are interpretations of the codes as they apply to specific situations.
The CEAB holds regular meetings once each month, which are open to the public. Meeting times, dates and agenda documents are available on the Board Meeting Schedule page. In addition to attendance at monthly Board meetings, members may be required to participate in hearings which can be as short as a single morning or extend to three full days. Board members are compensated at the rate of two hundred dollars per day for each day they attend a meeting or hearing and receive reimbursement for their necessary expenses incurred in the discharge of their official duties.
The current CEAB members are listed on this site in the “About Us” section.
