Hangout On-Air Viewer Instructions
Logging into webinar
Click the following link just before the webinar is scheduled to begin. It will bring you to the event webpage.
Public Health Hangout (https://plus.google.com/events/cfkamdcss6o03j801afse57iods)
The video will play in the viewer window when the hangout comes on air. However, with some browsers you may need to click the play button in the middle of the viewer to start the video.
Important Note: Google+ Account Not Required to Watch but IS Required to Ask Questions
It is not necessary to have a Google+ account to view the hangout however, Google will ask you to login or create an account if you click the responses “Yes,” “No,” or “Maybe” under “Are you going to watch.” If you accidently click one of these buttons and you don’t want to create a Google account, just click the back button on your browser and you will be returned to the event page.
There’s no need to click these buttons if you just want to watch. If you do, Google will ask you to create an account, or log into an existing account. This is something that you’ll need to do if you plan to post comments on the event page or ask questions during the webinar.
Questions for the Presenters
Please register before the event if you think that you might ask a question. You’ll also need to be logged into a Google+ account to ask questions of the presenters or to post comments on the hangout event page. If you plan to ask a question, you should click one of the “Are you going to watch?” response buttons and login or create an account on the following page.
Click the Q & A button in the right corner of the viewer to ask a question, then click the green “ask a new question” button on the bottom of the next screen.
Post Comments
Type comments in the “Say something box.” A green “Share” button will appear when you do. Click the share button to post.
