Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Program
We encourage homeowners to call the program Call Center for more information about the CDBG-DR program.  Toll Free Team Sandy Hotline 1-866-272-1976. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 9 PM.  
The toll-free hotline will no longer be available after 12/31/2014.

Intake Centers will be available to assist homeowners in Fairfield and New Haven Counties impacted by Superstorm Sandy in filling out and submitting their application for the Owner Occupied Rehabilitation and Reconstruction program beginning October 24, 2013.

Hours of Operation: Intake Centers have closed as of 4/1/2014.
Effective March 1st the intake centers located in Norwalk, Milford, East Haven and Groton will be shut down. The final day for homeowners affected by Superstorm Sandy to visit these centers to receive assistance in completing their applications for CDBG-DR assistance will be Friday, February 28, 2014. The Fairfield Intake Center will remain open until Tuesday, April 1, 2014.

Homeowners who are elderly or disabled and cannot make it to an intake center will still have access to mobile units beyond these closing dates. Homeowners interested in arranging a meeting with the mobile unit should call the program’s toll-free hotline at 1-866-272-1976.
