Passport to the Parks

Connecticut has made state parks, forests, trails, historic sites and beaches more accessible to our residents so they can enjoy the many attractions and beauty they offer. Under the Passport to the Parks program, parking fees are now eliminated at Connecticut State Parks for those with Connecticut registered vehicles.

Your go-to outdoor place!  Located around the state, our 110 state parks and 32 state forests offer a place for every outdoor enthusiast to refresh and recharge by  visiting recreation areas, museums, and nature centers all while enjoying our state's historic, cultural and natural resources.   

COVID-19 Operation Updates

The 110 CT State Parks, 32 State Forests and 117 State Boat Launches are open for the 2021 Outdoor Recreation Season. Visitors must wear a mask when visiting indoor facilities. This includes visitor centers, museums and restrooms. Please be sure to maintain adequate social distancing while you enjoy all of Connecticut’s natural, cultural and historic resources.
