The public notices in this section are provided as a convenience to the public. The official legal notice has been published in accordance with the requirements of all applicable laws.

  • Attainment Demonstration for the 2008 Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards and Statewide Motor Vehicle Emissions Budgets

    Notice of intent to revise the State Implementation Plan to comply with the 2008 National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Ozone. Public online hearing to be held, upon request, on January 6, 2022. Such a request must be made by 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021. If no request for a hearing is received on or before December 30, 2021, the hearing will be cancelled. Written comments are due by January 6, 2022.

  • Notice of Intent to Amend Air Quality Regulations and Revise the State Implementation Plan

    Notice of intent to repeal section 22a-174-4 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies (RCSA) concerning source monitoring and to adopt RCSA 22a-174-4a, a more comprehensive source monitoring regulation. Comments should be submitted no later than 5 pm on December 17, 2021. A public hearing will be held, upon request on December 15, 2021. Requests for a public hearing should be submitted no later than 5 pm on November 26, 2021. If a request for a public hearing is received by the specified deadline, information will be posted on DEEP’s website no later than December 3, 2021 indicating that the public hearing will be held as scheduled and providing the location and time. Otherwise, information will be posted no later than December 3, 2021, indicating that the public hearing has been cancelled.
