What Is a Tiger Trout?

Tiger trout are a unique and exciting fish that is back on the menu starting in 2020. Tiger trout are a cross between a male brook trout and a female brown trout. Tiger trout grow faster and bite more aggressively than either parent species - making them the perfect target for anglers!

The Fisheries Division challenged anglers to "Tame a Tiger" during the year of their return. Check out some photos of these great fish.
