About
The Office of Affordable Housing Energy Retrofits works to:
- Design and administer existing and novel programs to meet policy priorities related to affordability, weatherization, decarbonization, and health and safety
- Enhance energy equity, reduce energy burdens, and cultivate a comprehensive approach to housing retrofits in vulnerable households and communities
- Meet 2050 emissions targets in the Connecticut affordable housing sector through participatory and inclusionary practices that
- improve the public health and wellness of vulnerable communities
- make energy affordable to populations disproportionately affected by climate change
- economically revitalize historically overlooked markets
- create jobs across all levels of the green economy
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - MULTIFAMILY REVOLVING LOAN PROGRAM
On March 18, 2026, DEEP released a Request for Information to inform the design and implementation on a new Multifamily Revolving Loan Program. The response due date has been extended to April 29, 2026.
