DEEP headquarters at 79 Elm Street in Hartford has partially re-opened to staff and members of the public as of Tuesday, February 3. The DEEP records room has re-opened. The DEEP Central Permit Processing Unit (CPPU) will be open to the public starting on Wednesday, Feb. 4. For updates, click here

December 18, 2023 – Climate Pollution Reduction Grants Public Information Meeting:

Request for Public Comments (December 22, 2023 - January 12, 2024) – DEEP solicited public comments on how the state’s proposed priority actions to reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) will benefit communities in Connecticut through direct or indirect benefits, especially for low-income and disadvantaged communities (LIDAC, as defined per EPA).

March 1, 2024  EPA Climate Pollution Reduction Grant Planning Grant First Deliverable: A Priority Climate Action Plan 

Fourteen near-term, implementation-ready climate action measures aligned with Connecticut’s Governor’s Council on Climate Change recommendations and sector-specific climate plans to inform applications for the EPA Climate Pollution Reduction Grant Phase 2 Implementation Grant.
