Priority Climate Action Plan (PCAP) & Implementation Grant

The PCAP will include a focused list of near-term, high-priority, implementation ready measures to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution and an analysis of GHG emissions reductions that would be achieved through implementation. The measures will draw from the recommendations of the Governor’s Council on Climate Change and the state’s sector-specific climate plans. The state will apply for EPA CPRG Implementation Grant funding for selected measures within the PCAP. PCAP Due March 1, 2024 Implementation Grant Due April 1, 2024

Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP)

The CCAP will touch on all significant greenhouse gas (GHG) sources/sinks and sectors present in the state, establish near-term and long-term GHG emission reduction goals, and provide strategies and identify measures to achieve the state’s near-term and long-term GHG emission reduction goals. The CCAP will serve as a roadmap to reach the state’s statutory GHG emission reduction targets of 45% below 2001 levels by 2030, a zero-carbon energy supply by 2040, and 80% below 2001 levels by 2050. Due Summer 2026
