Municipal Access - Judicial Electronic Bridge - MA-JEB

Overview

Municipal Access to the Judicial Electronic Bridge (MA-JEB) is a computer application developed by the Judicial Branch to provide access to Adult Probation information for authorized law enforcement personnel. MA-JEB was introduced in June 2008 and has received a very positive response.

MA-JEB is used by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as State’s Attorneys’ offices across Connecticut, to support public safety and informed decision-making.

What MA-JEB Provides

MA-JEB provides access to client profile information, including:

  • Address and identifying information
  • Open cases and sentenced closed cases
  • Photographs

Each case also includes:

  • Probation officer name and contact information
  • Office location
  • Dockets and charges
  • Conditions of probation
  • Probation start and end dates

Based on statutory restrictions, certain information and certain offenders are not available through this system, including juvenile probation, youthful offender information, and closed diversionary programs.
