Training and Access

This page explains how to request access to the Connecticut Information Sharing System (CISS), complete training, and get help if needed.

Register for Access

To request access to CISS, complete and sign the CJIS-CT User Authorization Request (CUAR) form.

Submit the completed form to CJIS.HelpDesk@ct.gov.

Refer to the CUAR Instructions for information about GFIPM claims, agency approvers, and related requirements.

Users must submit a CUAR form and receive approval before they can access CISS or related training.

Online Training

Users needing CISS Search User Certification can complete training online through the CJIS Learning Management System.

Online training is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for approved users. Once a training account is created, users may begin training, exit, and return later as needed.

Participants may receive POST training credit upon completion of CISS training, if applicable.

Training can be accessed from a computer or mobile device with an internet connection.

Live Training Status

Live CISS training webinars are currently suspended due to other training priorities.

When available, training may also be offered through instructor-led sessions.
