As Chairman of the Workers' Compensation Commission of the state of Connecticut, I am pleased to announce a revised workers' compensation fee schedule, effective April 1, 2002.
Published by Ingenix, the 2002 Official Connecticut Practitioner Fee Schedule will encompass all changes to the February 15, 2001 schedule. As the result of numerous discussions with all parties, this current and comprehensive resource will include revisions of rules, increased fees in the areas of Evaluation & Management, Medicine and Physical Medicine, and new CPT® codes. By referencing this information, health care providers will be able to define their services more accurately.
This new publication will be effective for medical services rendered on or after April 1, 2002, regardless of the date of injury, that are payable to health care providers authorized or permitted to render care under the Connecticut Workers' Compensation Act.
