Annual Statements have been sent for all active teachers as of January 14th. Annual Statements do not reflect service purchases completed AFTER June 2025. If you need to request a duplicate copy of your Annual Statement prior to February 2nd please contact your employing district. Inactive and State employed TRB members will receive their statements in February. The Annual Statement Center can be used to alert TRB of possible errors on your statement. Duplicate statements for the 2024-25 year will be added to the Annual Statement Center on February 2nd 2026.

AN ACT CONCERNING THE TEACHERS' RETIREMENT BOARD'S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CHANGES TO THE TEACHERS' RETIREMENT SYSTEM STATUTES.

 

Sec. 10-183g Benefit Rates g(g) Retirement applications are irrevocable as of the retirement date.

Sec. 10-183h Death Benefits (c) Return of accumulated contributions-removed sole survivor and amended the to surviving children if there was no beneficiary elected.

Sec. 10-183l (a) (4) Two retiree seat elections will take place in July.

Sec. 10-183t (3)(A) Retiree subsidy will reduce member cost for member, spouse, surviving spouse, or disabled member regardless of collective bargaining agreement.

Sec. 10-183t (e) (1) Quarterly subsidy reports due March, April, September, and December of each year.

Sec. 10-183 aa (c) Medical review board will review eligible applications.

Sec. 4d-80 (b) executive IT Director will not be eligible for TRS System.
