It is designed to help families navigate through their options and make informed decisions, offering guidance on timelines and tips to support them in choosing the best fit for your child.

The RSCO School Choice Resource Guide and Directory (2025-26 school year)

This year, the RSCO School Choice Directory is redesigned as a resource for school staff and community-based organizations to assist families as they explore school choice options in the Greater Hartford Region and complete the application process. The Directory provides essential information for supporting families through the school choice process, including application rules and strategies, timelines, detailed information about the school choice programs (magnet schools, the Open Choice Program and the Hartford region technical high schools), as well as informational flyers for every school and district in the school choice portfolio.
