RSCO Application 2025-26 School Year
The on-time RSCO application for the 2025-26 school year closed on February 10, 2025, at 5:00 pm. The RSCO late application will open the week of March 10, 2025, after the first round of placements for each program (CTECS, Magnet, and Open Choice) have been announced.
RSCO School Choice Fair
RSCO is hosting a School Choice Fair on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (doors close at 12:30 p.m.) at Sport and Medical Sciences Academy in Hartford. This free event will feature representatives from RSCO’s network of choice schools, offering families the opportunity to ask questions about the late application and the waitlist as well as and learn more about available programs.

RSCO is pleased to announce that placement notifications for magnet school applicants who applied by February 10, 2025 were emailed and/or text messaged to families on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Log into your RSCO account at ChooseYourSchool.org to accept your placement offer.
Listed below is a schedule of placement notification dates for the three CTECS technical high schools and magnet schools.The placement notification schedule for the Open Choice Program will be published the week of March 17, 2025.
