State of Connecticut
Office of Policy and Management
COMMUNITY SUPERVISION IMPLEMENTATION
COMMUNITY CONNECTOR ORGANIZATIONS
Summary: The Office of Policy and Management in conjunction with the Department of Children and Families and the Court Support Services Division of the Judicial Branch will implement the community supervision strategic plan and attempt to demonstrate how a system of wrap around pro-social supports that addresses the individual, criminogenic risks and needs of high and very high risk youth with a family-driven/youth focused lens can be effective in reducing recidivism. This opportunity will fund community supervision implementation community connector organizations to identify and connect high and very high risk youth who are on juvenile probation and parole with pro-social supports in their communities using the Effective Practices in Community Support for Influencers (EPICS-I) approach, developed by the University of Cincinnati.
