STOP Violence Against Women Formula Grant Program

The STOP Formula Grant Program supports communities in their efforts to develop and strengthen effective law enforcement and prosecution strategies to combat violent crimes against women and to  enhance victim services in cases involving violent crimes against women. The STOP Grant provides:

State of Connecticut STOP Implementation Plan

The Violence Against Women Act, 42 U.S.C. § 13925 requires the state to develop an Implementation Plan for the STOP Formula Grant Program (STOP Grant). The U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women must approve the plan, for the state to allocate funds to specific projects.
