Find healthcare claims data in the APCD
The All-Payer Claims Database (APCD), created by law in 2012, is Connecticut’s hub for insurance claims. Analysis of claims data helps to improve health and healthcare delivery in Connecticut by supporting policy and research that address healthcare delivery concerns. Connecticut's APCD has been recognized nationally for innovation and:
- includes more than 2.2 billion claims
- represents approximately 86% of insured residents
Any state agency, insurer, employer, healthcare provider, consumer, or researcher can request APCD data for evaluating healthcare services utilization, costs, or quality.
