The Health Information Technology Advisory Council (HITAC) was established to advise the Commissioner the Office of Health Strategy (OHS) in developing priorities and policy recommendations for advancing the state's health information technology and health information exchange efforts. The council was also established to advise in the development and implementation of the statewide health information technology plan and the statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE) now known as Connie.

HITAC also provides guidance to OHS on appropriate governance, oversight and accountability measures to ensure success in achieving the state's health information technology and exchange goals.

APCD Advisory Group 

The All-Payer Claims Database Advisory Group (APCD-AG) advises OHS on using health data to improve healthcare efficiency, outcomes, and the understanding of costs.

HIE Regulations Subcommittee 

The HIE Regulations Advisory Subcommittee supports development of policies, procedures, and regulations related to the HIE.
