Who certifies students for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits in CT?

A School Certifying Official (SCO) is also known as a Veterans Certifying Official (VCO). The SCO works for a school and liaises with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). SCOs are required to complete online training on an annual basis, and provide their completion certificates to the CT SAA.

SCOs use Enrollment Manager to certify eligible veterans. They also notify the VA of any changes. For example, if a student drops a class.
