It is any legal: parent, sibling, spouse or child of the deceased.

If you would like to request records but are not the legal Next of KIN, you can provide proper assignment of paperwork from the court or have the Next of KIN contact our office. They will be provided a form to complete for the release of information.

Office of the Child Advocate - The Office of the Child Advocate (OCA) is not an administrator of programs. Rather, the OCA monitors and evaluates public and private agencies that are charged with the protection of children, and reviews state agency policies and procedures to ensure they protect children's rights and promote their best interest.
