Who will be receiving an on-site visit?

Municipalities that reach out to us to schedule an assessment. Our assessments are a free service offered to all Connecticut Municipalities.

 

What is the availability of the CTMD Joint Cyber Team?

We are available M-F from 9am-3pm for visits, but can adjust for municipalities with tight schedules.

 

How long will the assessment take?

Our assessments are generally 60 to 90 minutes.

 

What personnel will need to be present?
The municipalities' IT staff and/or managed service provider. If all IT functions are handled by the managed service provider it is recommended that representation from the municipality is present.

What are the benefits of our services?
While the main benefit is increasing cyber resilience and operational readiness, our assessments can also be used as a framework to qualify for cyber insurance and funding for the municipality. Our assessment will also complete a requirement for receiving funding under the new State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program.
