Connecticut Wartime Service Medal

All Connecticut veterans with qualifying wartime military service are eligible to receive the Connecticut Veterans Wartime Service Medal. 

1. Eligibility: In order to receive the Connecticut Veterans Medal, the veteran must meet all of the following requirements.
    
   • Qualifying military wartime service: 90 days active wartime service (unless the war or operation lasted less than 90 days)  
   • Honorable or under Honorable conditions (or discharge due to injuries received in the line of duty) 
   • Current resident of Connecticut or a resident of Connecticut at the time of qualifying wartime service.

   • CTDVA Form VM2 (PDF) (for Posthumous Applications) 
   • CTDVA Form VM3 (PDF) (for Hmong Laotian Special Guerrilla Units)
