The Federal Government has reopened COVIDtests.gov. Every household can order four over-the-counter COVID-19 tests for free. These tests are intended for use throughout the 2024 holiday season to detect currently circulating COVID-19 variants. Please visit COVIDtests.gov for your free test.


Your pet’s world may be a very different place after a disaster.  Know what to do to help make their transition as smooth and safe as possible.

SECURING – Familiar landmarks and smells might be gone and your pet will probably be disoriented.  Pets can easily get lost in such situations.  Keep your pets from roaming loose. 

ROUTINES – Try to get them back into their normal routines as soon as possible.

PATIENCE – Be patient with behavioral problems that may result from the stress of the situation.

VETERINARIAN – If behavioral or health problems persist, talk to your veterinarian about what steps may be taken.
