At the state level, Section 19a-2a-29 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies (RCSA):

• Provides minimum design and construction requirements to ensure the health and safety of campers.
• Outlines requirements for: water supply and distribution, bathhouses, sanitary disposal stations, garbage/refuse disposal, swimming area(s), and food service.

At DPH, we are responsible for working with local health departments concerning regulatory compliance.
