Find your local health agency

In Connecticut (CT), local public health services are provided by 59 local health agencies. These agencies can be either town/city health departments or regional health districts. Each agency works on its own and is managed by local leaders or a board of health.

Local health agencies have to follow state and local public health laws. They must also offer a basic health program.  The program services can be provided by the agency itself or with help from other groups.

To find your local health agency and to learn more about the services provided, move your mouse over your town name on the map below and click to see the contact information and website link. You can also look in the table under the map to find your local health agency.
