Add and Administer Immunizations

“Add and Administer”- Initial step required when reporting via manual data entry in CT WiZ.

If you encounter patients that display a yellow box with a hyperlink, it needs to be cleared before you are able to add administered doses from inventory or enter refusals of vaccination.

This is also the reason why you will only have an “add history” option when you are trying to report vaccines administered.

  1. Click the hyperlink in the yellow box to enter the required information on the Patient Demographics screen. (See screenshot below.)




  2. Update the “Patient Level Eligibility” by selecting the drop down.
  3. Click “Update.” (See screenshot below.)



  4. Click the "Immunizations" module to navigate back to the Immunizations Home Screen. (See screenshot below.)



  5. Now the "Add Vaccines" and "Administer Vaccines" is available. (See screenshot below.)
