The CT Department of Public Health's Asthma Program and Occupational Health Program would like to remind you of the importance of reporting cases of new onset and work-aggravated respiratory diseases to DPH. All work-related diseases, including new onset and work-aggravated respiratory conditions, are reportable in CT per Connecticut General Statutes (CGS§ 31-40a).
How to Report
In order to report new onset and work-aggravated respiratory diseases, the confidential Physician's Report of Occupational Disease form must be completed and sent to the Department of Labor. Please visit the CT DPH Occupational Health Unit's website to find out more information.
