Connecticut 2015 Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) Training Programs

  
The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH), Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) Program was created by mandate. The purpose of the HAI Program is to oversee the prevention, surveillance, and reporting of HAIs in Connecticut's healthcare facilities. HAIs are reported through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) surveillance system. To assist healthcare facilities in the accurate surveillance and reporting of HAIs, the DPH offers outreach and educational programs by HAI Program staff. The following training programs have been offered since April 2015.
