Residential Sex Offender Treatment Program
In keeping with the mandate of the Connecticut General Assembly in Public Act 08-01, a secure, 24-bed, male, residential, sex offender treatment facility will commence operations on January 1, 2011 on the grounds of the Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Center in Uncasville. The facility will be operated under a contract with The Connection Inc. It will provide 12, pre-release, halfway house beds for offenders who are completing sentences within the Connecticut Department of Correction and 12 beds for offenders who are serving terms of post release probation under the Court Support Services Division of the State Judicial Branch. The intent is to provide continuing sex offender treatment as a means of supporting the reintegration of these offenders back into their home communities and law abiding society.
In the interest of public safety, the current census of the treatment facility is available below. After each name is a link to their Department of Correction information, as well as a link to their page on the Department of Public Safety Sex Offender Registry.
