Freedom of Information Requests

Fees/Payment

Consistent with the Freedom of Information Act (Connecticut General Statutes Sec. 1-212) the Department may charge fees for providing records as follows:

  • The fee for any copy is $.25 per page.
  • The Department may also charge for performing the formatting or programming functions for computer-stored public records.

The State of Connecticut has published policy guidelines for the calculation of fees that may be charged. The Department of Banking may request advance payment. 

Payments must be by check payable to: State of CT Treasurer’s Office.
