CT DESPP/DEMHS has activated CrisisTrack to capture damage reports from the Sept. 13 flooding event. Individuals and households can report flood-related damages and unmet needs using the survey link below. The information reported will be used to determine if the State is eligible for any post-disaster programs through FEMA and/or the Small Business Administration. Submitting a report does not guarantee assistance. Residents with life-safety emergencies should call 911. Residents needing immediate non-emergency assistance may contact 211.

Targeted violence terrorism prevention involves a multifaceted approach to protect communities from threats posed by individuals or groups with the intent to cause harm. DEMHS, as the lead state agency for coordinating emergency management and response statewide to disasters and incidents, is committed to preventing and protecting the state from acts of violence and terrorism and engaging with the whole community of stakeholders to achieve its mission.

The Connecticut Intelligence Center (CTIC) serves as the homeland security component within DEMHS. We’re here to help the people of CT and prevent a homeland security threat or situation.
