Project Description:
The Department has prepared a draft permit and has made a tentative determination to issue an Air State Facility permit for Peckham Materials Corp. The permit renewal includes a cap on emissions of Oxides of Nitrogen, Sulfur Dioxide, and Carbon Monoxide to keep emissions below major source thresholds. Changes to the permit includes the addition of 6 NYCRR Part 220-3 conditions, which involves additional emissions testing. Major components of this facility include crushers, conveyors, and screens as part of a processing plant. Also, onsite is a hot mix batch asphalt plant with a rotary dryer and baghouse. By acceptance of this permit, the permittee agrees that the permit is contingent upon strict compliance with the ECL, all applicable regulations, the General Conditions specified and any Special Conditions included as part of this permit.

DEC will evaluate the application and the comments received on it to determine whether to hold a public hearing. Comments and requests for a legislative public hearing should be in writing and addressed to the Department representative listed below.
