Notice of Two Listening Sessions to receive Public Comments on Draft Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) Initiative Program Evaluation
CT DEEP has scheduled two hybrid listening sessions for Tuesday, May 26 at 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of receiving public comments on DEEP’s “Draft Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) Initiative Program Evaluation” required pursuant to Section 12 of Public Act 25-125. Identical listening sessions are offered either in-person at DEEP’s Gina McCarthy Auditorium, 5th Floor, 79 Elm Street, Hartford, CT 06106, or remotely via Zoom (Session #1 Registration: 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. or Session #2 Registration: 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.).
At each hybrid listening session, information will be shared by DEEP about the “Draft NBS Initiative Program Evaluation” and both in-person and online attendees will be invited to provide oral comments related to its contents. The Draft NBS Initiative Program Evaluation will be posted for public review at least one week in advance of the listening sessions on the following webpage: Nature-Based Solutions. Public comments about the Draft NBS Initiative Program Evaluation are welcome through 11:59 p.m. on June 2, 2026 to DEEP.ERSI@ct.gov, preferably as an attached PDF document.
