Purpose of this Request for Information (RFI)
The purpose of this RFI was to gather public input to inform the preparation of guidelines for and structure of upcoming broadband infrastructure deployment programs to support statewide goal of attaining universal access to broadband.
Broadband RFI Timeline
August 26, 2022 - RFI responses were due to DEEP by 4:30 p.m. EST.
August 5, 2022 - DEEP issued a Q&A to answer questions received related to the RFI.
July 21, 2022 - DEEP held a public input session to share details of the RFI, answer questions, and gather your input on broadband technology, access, adoption, and coordination ahead of the state’s anticipated broadband infrastructure deployment programs. May 17, 2022 - DEEP submitted a Letter of Intent to participate in the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program to the NTIA.
