The Land and Water Conservation Fund: Outdoor Recreation and Legacy Partnership Program
The ORLP Program offers a unique opportunity for large-scale acquisition or development of recreational facilities to service distressed communities. Interested parties are encouraged to read the full Request For Proposals (RFP) as well as the Notice Of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) linked here. DEEP is committed to helping applicants produce complete and high-quality applications for submission to NPS. Applicants are encouraged to reach out at their earliest opportunity to DEEP to inform them of their intent to apply, as well as with any questions that may arise during the application process.
- As applications are submitted to NPS by the State. The State’s deadline is earlier than the Federal ORLP submission deadline.

- Projects must be submitted to CT DEEP no later than: 11:59PM March 01, 2024
- DEEP Final Selection of Projects to be Submitted to NPS: By or Before March 15, 2024
- DEEP Final Submission Deadline to NPS: 11:59 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
