This communications policy governs all communications with hearing officers and staff of the Office of Adjudications. This policy applies to all parties and intervenors.

In addition to its role as the department’s adjudicatory body, the Adjudications office is also prepared to offer mediation services or otherwise facilitate settlement discussions in a confidential setting at any time during the hearing process.

The Rules of Practice govern practice in all Department proceedings including contested cases, licensing, declaratory rulings, regulation-making and hearings.
